The South Sound Scrimmage is a week 0 event run by the Tacoma Robotics Alliance. Started in the 2024-2025 season FIRST® DIVE℠ presented by Qualcomm, 10 teams showed up and competed in 15 matches at our practice field. It was broadcasted on the SOTAbots Youtube channel on February 23rd, 2025.
The South Sound Scrimmage was held again in the 2026 season FIRST® AGE™ presented by Qualcomm. This time it was all possible with the use of FRC Team 254 - The Cheesy Poofs' Cheesy Arena Lite on GitHub, fantastic volunteers within and out of the TRA, and preparation all from students.
